CONGRATULATIONS
My congratulations to all of you at St. Joseph and St. Anne who attended Benediction on Sunday afternoon and our last First Friday Eucharistic Adoration. Our Faith must be growing because our numbers certainly are. Please remember our Country in your daily prayers. Keep up the good work.

SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT DE PAUL
Your help is needed for approximately one hour per month to help unload the food truck for the St. Vincent De Paul. The only requirement is that you should be able to handle toting fifty pound boxes. Food shipments arrive on the second and third Monday of each month. Sign up sheets are in the back of Church. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Congratulations is in order for St. Anne Parish. We met our ADA goal. I think the most telling statistic, beside your generosity is the fact that out of 72 households 32 choose not to participate. We are looking forward to the 44% more that could possibly participate next year. THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Everyone is invited to a baby shower sponsored by the Respect Life Committee. The baby shower will be held in the Church Hall on the first Sunday of the month of October. Plan to join us and also enjoy the coffee and donuts.
A wonderful time was had by all at our Ninth Annual Golf Tournament run so ably by Dude and Monkey Pratte. The final profit was another fund raiser for our school that continues to nourish the young seeds of our faith. A big" Thank You" to all that participated, those who supported and those who ran this most successful Parish function.

CiCi’s Pizza in Farmington is a great place to eat. They have agreed to designate the second Monday of the month to St. Joseph School and Church in Bonne Terre from 3:00p.m. until closing. If you buy a pizza or dine in, just mention St. Joseph’s name at the register and we will receive 10% of the receipts recorded that evening. MONEY COUNTERS
I wish to thank Agnes Vargo, who for so many years counted the Sunday collection each week. She has devoted many years and hours to helping her parish and I, along with the parish will be eternally grateful. She has agreed to continue to help as her health allows. We have five teams that have volunteered to count the collection. Each team will be counting one Sunday out of the month. Team # 5 will be counting for Sunday, September 30th.

GIFTS JOURNEY
You are invited to join a workshop that will last ten months and is designed to help you discover and develop your spiritual gifts. We will begin on Saturday, October 20th at St. Joseph Hall. We will meet on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 1:30p.m. until 4:30 p.m. The workshop will be lead by Ramona Neumann of Theotokos Ministry.There will be a $30.00 fee plus some book fees.
