St. Anne Church The Parish Council is inviting all Parish members and members from St. Joseph Parish who have volunteered for St. Anne Parish functions to an Appreciation Dinner. The Dinner will be held on Sunday, September 23rd. at 1:00p.m. in the Church Hall. Delicious baked turkey will be provided. Please bring a covered dish and one dessert. We wish to thank everyone for all you have given in time and effort to support our Parish family in anyway. Our Annual Ham and Turkey Shoot will be coming up soon. This year, it will be held on Sunday, October 7th beginning at 11:00a.m. More details will be coming up later. Mark your calendars now! The Parish community is invited to attend an ice cream party on Wednesday, September 12th at 6:30p.m. in the school auditorium. Father John, the Home and School officers, and the faculty will speak on expectations for the 2001/2002 school year. HEALING MASS All are invited to the HEALING MASS at 3:00P.M. on Sunday, September 16th with Fr. Paul Niemann at St. Agnes Parish in Bloomsdale, Mo. The sacrament of Reconciliation will begin at 2:30P.M. All Masses have many opportunities for healing throughout. A Healing Mass has an additional opportunity to be prayed for following the Sunday Eucharist. Call Healing/Deliverance Ministry of the Archdiocese for more information at 314-792-7070 CATECHETICAL AND PASTORAL STUDIES The Paul VI Institute of Catechetical and Pastoral Studies will offer 23 courses in its fall semester at various locations in the archdiocese. The fall classes are held in the evening and will meet for 11 weeks. Fees for the classes are $75 per credit hour or $50 per hour for people taking the class but not seeking credit. Paul VI, accredited by the Vatican Sacred Congregation of the Clergy, also offers a certificate of religious studies.
