TAX INFORMATION
The Internal Revenue Service has ruled that in order for a
donation to a charitable institution to qualify as a tax deduction it must be verified by
a letter. A cancelled check is no longer sufficient for these donations. If you are going
to need a statement for your contributions made in 2006 please contact the parish office.
If you have been receiving a statement in the past it is not necessary to call. A list was
compiled and a statement will be produced for you. All statements will be placed in a
sealed envelope with your name and placed in the back of church. This is the procedure for
both St. Joseph and St. Anne.
All donations must be received by December 31, 2006 in order for
you to receive credit on your 2006 statement. If you have requested a statement, it will
be ready for you to pick up by January 31, 2007 as required by law.

Many thanks to those at St. Joseph and St. Anne who
gave of their time and talent during the Advent and Christmas season. The decorators, sp.
ministers, servers, lectors, ushers, the choir, teachers, office and school staff,
Salvation Army bell ringers and many more. It is not my intention to overlook someone so,
if I have please know that all of you are in my daily prayers.
I appreciate what you do for your parish and for your kindness
that you show to the ones that are here to help you throughout the year. Deacon Don, the
parish staff and myself. (And thank you for the Christmas greeting and gifts you have sent
to Deacon Don and myself.)
May you have peace and love in your hearts this coming year and
may you enjoy good health as you grow in the graces of our dear Lord.

FEAST OF THE
SOLEMNITY OF MARY
The feast of The Solemnity of Mary will be celebrated January
1st. It is not a Holyday. Mass will be 8:00a.m. at St. Joseph and 9:30a.m. at
St. Anne. Please try to attend Mass and start your new year off on the right foot!!
EUCHARISTIC ADORATION
Eucharistic Adoration will be Friday, January 5, 2007
following the 8:00a.m. Mass. Benediction will be at 5:00p.m. Please come and spend some
time in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament.
ANOINTING OF THE SICK
If you are homebound, entering the hospitable, or otherwise
wish to be anointed, please call the rectory to arrange a visit with the priest.
