Thank you to all the wonderful stewards that help make this one of
the best seasons yet. The lectors, special ministers, servers, ushers, those that cleaned
and decorated the church, the choir, the teachers, school staff and office staff and many
more that have not been mentioned.

hospital the Parish Office needs to be notified
directly by you or an immediate family member. The names of those in the hospital are
always in the Sunday Prayers of the Faithful.

Feast Of The Solemnity Of Mary
New Year’s Day is the Feast of the Solemnity of Mary, the
Mother of God. This is a Holyday of Obligation. Masses at St. Joseph are as follows:
8:00am on the Holyday. Mass at St. Anne is at 9:30am on the Holyday. We will not have a
Mass of Anticipation on the day before. We wish all a "Happy and Healthy New
Year."
Bulletin Material Deadline
This year as in the past we have a bulletin deadline. Information
that you would like to have placed in the bulletin for that week needs to be in writing
and into the Parish Office on Monday before noon. We will place your information in that
week.
It would benefit your organization if your article appeared in the
bulletin at least two or three times before the event. We try hard to place any and all
information that comes in late.
This is your bulletin and your organization should take advantage
of the written pen!
Contribution Statements
Contribution statements will be generated for 2007 before the end
of January. If you requested a statement of your contributions for the year 2006 then you
will automatically receive one for 2007.
They will be placed in the back of church. Please step to the back of the church and pick
up your copy.
We Ask For Your Patience
A new schedule for the ministries at St. Joseph is in the making.
If you returned your Stewardship Card then you will be on the schedule. If you where on
the schedule last year and have not been asked to be taken off the schedule, you will be
on the new schedule. Please watch the bulletin until a new schedule is completed.

Have a safe and Happy Holiday. May peace and love fill your hearts
in the coming year. The Parish Office will be closed on New Year’s day. The Parish
Office will reopen on January 2, 2008!!

Prayer For The New Year
Dear Lord,
at the beginning of this New Year,
I remember that you are a God of beginnings and endings.
You created the world, with all its eternal patterns.
Winter beings in frost, and ends in Spring’s thaw.
Spring begins in new, green life, ending in Summer’s heat.
Summer begins in sunshine, and ends in Autumn’s breezes.
And Autumn’s color leads to the white of winter again.
As another year ends and begins in our lives,
help us to remember that you have made a world of cycles.
When fortune turns to trials, or hardship turns to joy, Help me
take delight in the life I’ve received from you.
Remind me that I will one day pass from this world and enter a new
life like those who’ve gone before me.
