It’s just next weekend! St. Anne will be having a Christmas
party on Sunday, December 7,2008 at 4:00 pm. We will enjoy a lovely dinner and have games
for all ages; St. Joseph’s choir will also perform. There will be a sign up sheet in
the back of church for the families that can attend. We are asking each family to bring a
cover side dish of your choice or dessert. We hope to see you and your family there! It
will be a delightful way to spend the holiday with your church family. If you have any

Our Christmas Party will be here soon. Mark your calendar for
Monday, December. 8th at 6:00 p.m. in our church basement. The catered dinner is $9.00
each. You may bring your husband or a friend. All prospective members are welcome for a
fun evening. Don’t forget an attendance prize and an exchange gift if you wish to
participate, ($5.00 limit) And lastly, please bring cookies for our shut-in members. Some
fruit or soft candy is also appreciated. See you all there!
Marriage Encounter Weekend
If you and your spouse are facing an empty nest, it might be a
perfect time for you to attend a Marriage Encounter Weekend. You will be able to explore
the new joys or challenges in your lives. The next Weekends will be held December 5-7 and

Annual Sleigh Raffle
St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School is holding the Annual Sleigh
Raffle. This year we have 2 sleighs. A smaller gift card sleigh was added in addition to
our large traditional item/toy sleigh. Two winners will be drawn. The 1st name drawn will
receive their choice of sleigh and the 2nd winner will receive the remaining sleigh. The
tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. The winner of the gift card sleigh will win the
sleigh and all of its contents and the winner of the item/toy sleigh will win the contents
only of the large sleigh. Winners will be drawn on 12/15/2008 and need not be present to
win. The Parents Home and School Association thank you for your support!
Our Lady Sodality
We are selling tickets for a grocery cart full of groceries value
of $450.00. The tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00 they are available at the rectory or
any of the sodality members. Tickets will be available at our Christmas - Cookie &
Craft Sale December 6th & 7th. Drawing will be December 16th at our Christmas party.
As you know all of our funds go directly to helping the school.
