During the Advent season the Parish is sponsoring a Day of
Recollection.
The conference leader will be Rev. William Clark, OMI. We will
start at 8:00a.m. with the Eucharist and conclude with a Penance Service at 2:00p.m.
This would be a great opportunity to give yourself a spiritual
Christmas present at the coming of our Savior. The day is completely gratis (free). A
brown bag lunch will be provided.

The Holy Spirit is the breath of divine life within us and
the living breath of prayer who invites us to pray, permeates our prayer, and acts in us
whenever we pray. The Holy Spirit is the author of our prayer who guides us in prayer.
Pope John Paul II has told us that our difficult age has a special need for prayer. Recent
years have seen a revival of prayer and a renewed spirituality among the faithful. It is
the Holy Spirit who inspires in our hearts a yearning for holiness.
