meeting on Monday, November 10th at 7:00p.m.Birthday’s from September
through December will be celebrated.Our special guest speaker, Rep. Dan Ward will address

With tongue in cheek, the Liturgical Police have noticed that
fewer people are bowing in reverence before receiving the Euchrist. The rule of thumb is
to make a head bow when the person in front of you receives the Euchrist.

At the start of Advent, Bishop Joseph Naumann, Archdiocesan
Administrator encourages all Catholics throughout the Archdiocese to take the opportunity
to go to confession in preparation for Christmas, in order that all may "encounter
the merciful love of the Father."
On December 5, 2003 and again on December 6, 2003 we will
celebrate Reconciliation Weekend 2003. Friday evening
7:00-9:00p.m. and all day Saturday, 9:00a.m. – 4:00p.m. Priests will be available at
50 churches in the Archdiocese to hear confessions.
Packets of information about the Sacrament of Reconciliation are
available through the parish and will contain a useful guide on how to go to the Sacrament
of Reconciliation
Confessions will be heard at Immaculate Conception Church in Park
Hills.
Confession times: Friday, December 5, from
7:00-9:00p.m.
Saturday, December 6, from 9:00a.m. – 4:00p.m.
In addition to Reconciliation Weekend, we will also have a
parish Advent Penance Service with opportunity for confession on December 22nd.
beginning at 7:00p.m.. Extra confessors will be available.
Pray that this Advent will be a time of profound self-examination,
forgiveness and renewal for all.
