World Mission Sunday
Today is World Mission Sunday, a day of prayer and sacrifice
for the support of the Mission Church. The special collection will assist the growth of
the Church in 1,150 mission lands worldwide. The theme of World Mission Sunday this year
as given by His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI is: "All the Churches for all the
World." Please be generous in this special collection for evangelization worldwide.

Once again we have been blessed. Please take a moment to admire
the hand carved picture in the back of church. "The Head of Christ" was designed
by Mary Jane Richardson and donated to St. Anne by Shirley Byington. It will be hung in a
place of honor in the Sacristy.
Don’t forget that our annual "Hog Shoot" is Sunday,
October 28, 2007. Desserts will not be needed for the Hamburger Stand. However, if you
would like to make your favorite dessert, the Country Store will sell them. Any baked
items would be appreciated.
All the monies from this "Fund Raiser" will benefit St.
Anne cemetery.
We could use the help. If you have a free moment or two please
come and support this parish activity.
Our Lady Sodality
We are truly sorry about the cancellation of "The One Day
Retreat" with Father Ray Oge. A lot of interest was shown for the retreat. We hope to
have it at a future date but will wait to check with Father’s schedule.
Thanks to all you had a booth, those who came to shop and those
who enjoyed the chili. The Christmas in October was a great success.

Annual Chicken and Dumpling Dinner at Immaculate Conception Church
in Park Hills on Sunday, October 28th. Serving will be from 11:00am until 4:00pm. Adult -
$7.00, $3.50 for children (under 5 are free).
St. Agnes PTO Mexican Fiesta Dinner/Auction will be
October 27th at the Bloomsdale KC Hall. The tickets are $30.00 each and are all
all-inclusive. Raffle tickets offer you the opportunity to win $5.000.00. For more

Thank You
Thank you to those that chose to participate in the "Public
Square" Rosary Crusade. We had about 50-75 people that gathered on the Shearin
Funeral Home parking lot on Saturday, October 13, 2007 to pray the rosary for world peace
on the 90th anniversary of the miracle of Fatima. All parishioners are asked to keep this
alive and we will recite the rosary on the 13th of each month.

If so, you may place an order with one of the students from our school
before and after Mass this weekend. The products you chose will be delivered to your home
by a Schwan’s driver. You will have a choice of edible delights from a special
fundraiser sheet.
Stewardship "Time, Talent & Treasure"
Thank you to the parishioners that have responded to our
Stewardship program. Please return your intention cards in the collection basket or drop
them by the office. If you have misplaced your intention card we have extra’s that
you can pick up as you leave church today. The phone solicitation will begin in two weeks.
Daughters of Isabella
The Daughters will have their annual "Rummage Sale" on
November 3, 2007. If you have good, clean items that are in your way please help the
ladies by bringing them to the church hall. Please bring them before Friday, November 2,
2007.
