Stewardship Awareness
"
be persistent whether it is convenient or
inconvenient
" 2 TIMOTHY 4:2
It is not always convenient to be a good steward,
especially when all the temptations of our busy and materialistic world get in the way.
Yet, we must be persistent even when it is inconvenient. This persistence marks the true
follower of Christ.
The remaining Stewardship Intention Cards will be
mailed. Please fill out your card and return in the collection basket or drop it off at
the Parish Office.

World Mission Sunday
On Sunday, October 24th, the Catholic
Church in every parish and diocese of the world prays for
all Missionaries, and supports them with our donations to sustain them and
the people they serve in over 1,150 mission territories through
the Society for the Propagation of the Faith. Missionaries
make Gods love visible in striking ways. Yet they cannot do this without our support
and prayers. Please use the special envelopes for World Mission Sunday. His Holiness, Pope
Benedict XVI, thanks you for your support.
Rosary for Families
The family that prays together stays together. The holy
rosary, by age-old tradition, has shown itself particularly effective as a prayer, which
brings the family together. If you cannot be with your family, pray for them. Please join
us on Thursday after the 8:00 a.m. Mass or at 4:30 p.m. before the Saturday evening Mass.
Another opportunity is available every evening on EWTN.
