Dear Parishioners:
Let us all pray for Deacon Ron Kreft during this time of his serious illness.
Deacon Ron and June wish to thank the many that have called to
express their concerns and have offered their prayers.
Once again, I am proud to be your Pastor and have found the true
meaning of "Parish Family" at St. Anne and St. Joseph in your response to Deacon
Ron and June.
When we find it hard to accept Gods will, let us perform our
act of faith in Gods mercy and healing.
Respectfully yours in Christ,
Father John

WE BELIEVE IN GOD THE FATHER
PROGRAM BEGINS THIS WEEK!
WEEK 1 We Believe in ONE GOD
As Catholics we believe in one God and we believe in the
centrality of the doctrine of the Trinity in Catholic faith and life. It is difficult for
those who profess a belief in the Trinity to speak of one of the Persons of the Trinity
without referring to and some how defining the other two. This belief leads us to ask this
basic question of ourselves: Who is God?
It is not to late to join our group on Wednesday morning after
Mass or the group that gathers in the Meeting Room on Tuesday morning after Mass.
"The conflict is between a culture that affirms, cherishes,
and celebrates the gift of life, and a culture that seeks to declare entire groups of
human beings the unborn, the terminally ill, the handicapped and others considered
unuseful to be outside the boundaries of legal protection" (John
Paul II, St. Louis, Jan. 99) Archdiocesan Pro-Life Convention "Pray That They
Will Have Life 2002" on Sunday, October 27th at the Millennium
Hotel. Luncheon tickets are $25.00 per person. Call the Pro Life Office at 314-792-7555 to
make reservations.
The tragic events of Tuesday, September 11, 2001 gave all
Christians a reason to pause. During the twelve months that have passed since these tragic
events, many people have made a conscious decision to emphasize basic values of life. We
who are entrusted with the Gospel values are challenged to share these values with others.
The Catholic Community of St. Louis has a long history of being a
major benefactor of the Churchs missionary effort. Let us join in prayer for the
success of Mission Sunday!
