We thank the Home and School Association mothers for preparing breakfast for the
kindergarten through fourth grade students during testing week. Also, we are most
appreciative of the new refrigerator that the organization donated to the school.
In addition, the Daughters of Isabella and the Knights of Columbus
#1088 have generously assumed the cost of the bus expense when the K-4 grade students
attend the St. Louis Zoo on October 15, 2003. Many, many thanks to both of the Christian
organizations.
The Daughters of Isabella will hold their regular meeting on
Monday, October 13 at 7:00p.m. This month a dinner will be served beginning at 6:00p.m.
Anyone that is interested in joining our parish womens organization is welcome!

Pope John Paul II as the Successor of St. Peter, the Vicar of Christ on Saturday, October
18, 2003.

The Baptism in the Jordan
Jesus Self-Manifestation at the Wedding of Cana
The Proclamation of the Kingdom of God
The Transfiguration
The Institution of the Eucharist
The Holy Father was elected on October 16, 1979 and installed
October 22, 1979.
Please pray for our Holy Father.
WE BELIEVE IN THE HOLY SPIRIT, The Holy Spirit,
THE LORD
The Spirit of
Truth, the Light of Faith
The Holy Spirit ensures the endurance of truth and the
constancy of the Catholic faith. The Church will teach for all time the same truth the
Apostles heard firsthand from the Lord Jesus. This assurance of infallibility is both
blessing and challenge. The gift of the true faith calls us to witness to that faith with
our words and with our lives.
Take advantage of this opportunity to grow in faith.
"For the Son
of Man did not come to be served , but to serve and to give his life as ransom for
many." (Mark 10:45)
Jesus came on this earth to serve. Anyone who wishes to follow Him
must also be willing to give time, talent and treasure to serve Gods people, just as
Jesus gave His very life for us.
My sincere thanks to those who have so generously pledged their
time, talent and treasure to help our parish do Gods work here on earth.
Sincerely Yours in Christ,
Father John
St. Joseph, St. Anne Youth Group will meet Sunday, October 19th
from 4:00p.m. 6:00p.m. We will be making plans for our Halloween Party to be held
on November 1st.
Please try and come!
Today is Mission Sunday. Lets remember in prayer and in
sacrifice the many needs of our Churchs missionaries serving the poor around the
world. Your generosity today means life and help for countless millions.
