Knights Of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus will have their monthly Chicken and
Dumplings Dinner on October 4, 2007. Dinner will be served with apple sauce, coleslaw,
drinks and dessert. Serving will be from 4:00 pm until 6:30 pm. The Knights of Columbus
Hall is located at 7897 Berry Road, Bonne Terre, Missouri. Adults eat for $6.00 and
children for $3.00. Carry outs are available.
You Are Invited
The Sts. Phillip & James Parish are hosting their annual Fall
Dinner on Sunday, October 7, 2007. The dinner will consist of Fried Chicken & Ham
Dressing with mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, slaws and homemade pie and cake for
dessert. Adults eat for $8.00 and children for $4.00.
The country store will be open with children’s raffle and
games. The cash raffle top prize is $1,000.00. The beef raffle top prize is half of a
beef.

ST. ANNE CHURCH
FRENCH VILLAGE, MO.
The Saint Anne’s "Ham and Turkey shoot" will be
held on October 7, 2007. It will start at eleven am. Among the things to be
raffled are a Remington Model #870 and $300.00 in cash. Win a turkey or a ham on the wheel
without needing to shoot.
Brats, burgers, and homemade desserts will be available to
purchase.
REMINDER: Women of the parish please bring a dessert.
The Country Store will be open. Anyone who has something to
donate, please do so. Jellies, pickles, pies, cakes, cookies, and brownies are always a
great seller.
Time is running out. We need your help. Please pick up books of
raffle tickets and offer them to your friends and neighbors. They are on the table in the
back of church.
Our Lady Sodality
Booths are still available for the Christmas in October sale on

The "Day of Retreat" is on October 17, 2007. Please
register beforehand by calling the rectory at 573-358-2112. The day is free, however,
Father Oge would like to know the number of women he will be speaking to.
A Workshop For Caregivers
Mr. Greg Pacini, MS, will be conducting a workshop for anyone who
regularly assists children, people with disabilities, illness, or the aging. This workshop
will be held on Friday, October 19, 2007 at the Cardinal Rigali Center from 10:00 am until
3:00 pm.
Attendees will learn the difference between Compassion Fatigue and
Burnout, and also explore three step-by-step techniques for managing it. The cost to
attend is $35.00, including lunch.

Father John
Everyone is invited to the Birthday Bash
for Father John. Activities will begin at noon on September 30, 2007 at the St. Anne
Parish grounds. Each family is asked to bring a covered dish. This is a kick off for his
65th birthday year concluding with the celebration of his 40th anniversary of ordination
in May. Lots of surprises, games and good old family fun are in store.
The "Public Square" Rosary Crusade
In 1917, Our Lady appeared at Fatima, Portugal, with a message for
the world: "Do penance, amend your life, pray the Rosary." Have we heeded the
call? That is why "AMERICA NEEDS FATIMA" is organizing The "Public
Square" Rosary Crusade! In public places throughout the country, thousands of
Catholics will pray the Rosary at noon on October 13th, 2007, exactly 90 years since the
miracle of the sun at Fatima, Portugal. We now have 1,000 rallies planned and hope to
reach 2,000 soon! Everyone is invited to join our Rosary Crusade from noon until 2:00 pm
at the Shearin Funeral Home parking lot located at 11 S. Long St. and Hwy 47 in Bonne
Terre, Missouri.
