STEWARDSHIP ALIVE
"If anyone wishes to be first,
he shall be the last of all and the servant of all"
(Mark 9:35)
Once again we hear in the Gospel that God will judge us
differently than the world judges us. While the world might be impressed by our POWER, our
POSSESSIONS or our MONEY, God will want to know how well we served Him and one another
with our time, our talent and our treasure.

ST.JOSEPH FALL FESTIVAL 2006
Welcome to our first St. Joseph Fall Festival! In the past
we have always held our picnic in June. Every year we have had to survive the early season
rains, winds and blazing heat. This year we made the decision to move our regular picnic
to the month of May. We were blessed with a beautiful weekend. We condensed the picnic and
concentrated on the meal, music, bingo and beer garden.
One picnic a year has proven to tire our workers and create stress
on the volunteers and make us promise that this will be the last one. I made the decision
to have two" smaller picnics"each year. My hope was that some who could not help
in the spring would step forward in the fall and vice versa. Once again my prayers have
been answered. Thank you to the ones that survived the spring and thank you to the new
ones that have come forward.
We have plenty to offer today. Good food, Cash & Quilt Bingo,
Music by "Country Gold", Fun for the whole family. Thank you for coming, enjoy
yourselves, relax and renew old friendships. If you have traveled, have a safe journey
home. See you in the spring!
God Bless,
DAUGHTERS OF ISABELLA
