UPCOMING EVENTS:
To celebrate the
175th anniversary of St. Anne Church on Sunday, September 28, 2003 we will have
a Mass of Thanksgiving beginning at 11:00 a.m. followed by a blessing of the Cemetery and
dinner served in the Church basement. Starting at 1:30p.m. "Just 4 Fun" band
will provide entertainment with games for kids of all ages. Refreshments will be provided.
All Parishioners
are asked to bring a covered dish and dessert to the Anniversary Dinner.

The annual Retreat for men of St. Joseph and St. Anne parishes is
scheduled at the Jesuit Retreat House of St. Louis (also known as The White House Retreat
House) for November 13 th. through November 16th. Please call Larry
ONeill at 573-562-7668 for more information and to register.
We would like to welcome the faculty and students to St. Joseph School.
This year we have Brenda Edgar who has been a Special Needs
teacher for 21 years. She is helping as a Teachers Assistant. Tami Mason has joined
us as kindergarten teacher. She is pursuing a degree at Mineral Area College. Dawn Clemons
has been with us for three years and teaches First Grade. Stephanie Rouggly is pursuing a
degree from C.M.C. She has been with us for three years and teaches Second Grade. Rebecca
Crump teaches the Third and Fourth Grade. She has almost completed her degree and is now
doing her student teaching She has been with us for three years. Mrs. Barbara Monahan has
been the Administrative Assistant for 5 years. She has a Masters Degree and has completed
courses to teach religion. Glenda Ferraro, Administrative Assistant/Sec. has been with the
School for 6 years. Best wishes for another successful year!
IOWA testing starts September 22 nd. to September 30th.
September is Patriotic month and we will be paying homage to our
Country.
