School News
We have a few openings in some of the grades. Please
call the school at 358-5947 as soon as possible if you would like to enroll your child.
Childrens Games
Our Childrens Games Booth will feature Hillbilly
Basketball, Ping Pong Toss for a Goldfish Prize, Balloon Pop, Bing Bag Toss, Bracelet in a
Hay Stack, and much, much more. Please lend a helping hand to Mary and the rest of the
Pace Family and have lots of fun and cotton candy with the children as well.
Childrens Crafts
The Childrens Crafts Booth will have a variety of
areas for children to spend their time and not your money. This is a free area with fun
games, crafts, snacks, etc. Children who are over 5 years of age may be left, with the
permission of their parent or grandparent, to enjoy the crafts on their own. If a child is
left we must have contact information for the guardian. We hope that parish members with
children will avail themselves of this project to allow a time frame to donate a couple of
hours toa booth or as a kitchen worker or bingo, etc. We invite you also to stop by and
give Patricia a hand

66thAnnual St.
Joseph Festival
September 19, 2010
Vendor Booth
This year the Festival will have something
new!! We are inviting all Parish and community businesses to host a Vendor Booth. We hope
you can participate. If you have a home-based business, this is a way to get your message
out! We are offering a 10x10 space with a table, two chairs and/or electricity so you can
offer our guests a token or service that you have available to them in our area. If you
have a product or service that would benefit others, we invite you to attend. If you know
of someone that may be interested, please invite him or her to participate as well. For
more information, please call the Parish office at 573-358-2112. Your help is always
greatly appreciated.
**Festival Attractions**
Our Festival is going to be the most exciting, most
spectacular picnic ever. Our rides include a 35x15 slide, a 15x15 Moon Bounce, a 15x15
Ball Pit, and a 40x17 Obstacle Course. Spread the word that the HOTTEST Mechanical Bull
Ride on earth is back by popular demand. Grab that cowboy hat and come on over. In
addition, we will have an all new rappelling wall and a Washer Tournament.
We invite you to drop by the Bingo tent and win some
"back pocket" money and/or some really beautiful quilts from Branson, MO. You
will also want to try your luck at the Chuck-A-Luck and the poker tables. We encourage you
to purchase raffle tickets you could win $1,000.00 cash!
Our specialty food chefs will prepare deep fried Oreos
and Twinkies for your enjoyment. Our Old Fashioned Country Dinner will again feature the
absolute best Fried Chicken, Kettle Beef and Liver Dumplings in Missouri.
Treasure Basket Booth
Come and try your luck at the Treasure Basket Booth. Put
your fifty cents on the wheel and spin to choose your basket. Paula Pace has loaded these
baskets with treasures from our local merchants. Please join her if you can lend a hand.
Festival Desserts
Help needed! We will need 2 desserts from each parish
family for the Festival pies, cakes, cookies, cupcakes, brownies, etc. Please
indicate which desserts are sugar free.
Desserts may be taken to the Church Hall downstairs
Saturday evening or Sunday morning. The sharing of your favorite desserts will be greatly
appreciated.
Count Down!
We have only one week left to prepare for our Festival!
We urgently need your help and appreciate everyone who has signed up to volunteer.

Please call the Parish Office at 573-358-2112 if you can
volunteer to help with our booths and activities at the Festival. There are also some sign
up sheets in the back of Church.
Saturday volunteers are very important for setting up
and kitchen help to peel potatoes, prepare cole slaw and other dinner food preparation.
Every booth and dinner helper is important and greatly appreciated.
Monday volunteers are needed to dismantle booths, tents
and clean up. Free lunch is provided on both Saturday and Monday for all volunteers.
Again, please fill in your name and phone number where
we can reach you. You may also stop by the Parish office if you are able to help us.
Volunteers are asked to work 2-hour shifts - write in the hours you are available. The
