A Marriage Encounter Weekend is 44 hours where married couples
can get away from jobs, kids, chores, and phones and focus only on each other. If

One form of prayer that pleases Jesus very much is just to be
still and simply let Jesus love you in the Blessed Sacrament. Just as you can’t be
exposed to the sun without receiving its rays, so too, you can’t come before the
Blessed Sacrament without receiving the divine rays of the grace and love of the Son of
God. All of our parishioners from St. Anne and St. Joseph parish are invited to take part
in the Eucharistic Adoration that takes place this Friday morning after the 8:00a.m. Mass
till right before benediction at 5:00p.m. He asks that you spend just a little time with
Him. He patiently awaits your coming. |
Dear Parishioners:
Next week’s collection is for the Catholic Communication
Campaign. Through supporting the CCC’s annual collection, you actively participate in
"Shining a Light to Give Your Children a Bright Tomorrow." The CCC is funded by
an annual collection taken in parishes throughout the country to help spread the Gospel
through television, radio and print. Please give generously in the collection this year to
help the CCC bring hope and courage for the future.

Blessed Mother for world peace. Please pray for our world leaders, that they make the best
decisions for all of us.

Uniform day will be Monday, August 26th and Friday, August 30th.
Any child/children that does not participate in the uniform program will not be able to
sit with their classmates during morning Mass on Monday and Friday. St. Joseph School will
be closed in observance of Labor Day on Monday, September 2nd. Classes will
resume on Tuesday, September 3rd.
YOU ARE INVITED
LABOR DAY PICNIC: Monday, Sep. 2 from 10:00a.m. – 6:00p.m., St. Rose of
Lima Parish, DeSoto, Mo. on the school grounds. Chicken and Beef dinners served form
11:00a.m. til 5:00p.m. Dinner $7.00 for adults, children under 4 eat free. Bingo,
Refreshments Garden, Games, Crafts, Country Store and Ozark Treasures.
