P.S.R. classes will begin September 7th. Classes will
be held before the 10:00a.m. Mass from 9:00a.m. to 9:45a.m.
Students wishing to register for First Reconciliation
and First Communion classes must have attended P.S.R. classes for
one year prior to this year or participated in the catch-up class offered this summer.
Confirmation classes will be offered this year, and we are still
searching for someone to teach this class.

Bonne Terre Nutrition Center is in need of a volunteer for only one day a
week to deliver meals. Anyone wishing to help can call Margaret or Kathy at 358-3726

Our Parish Golf Tournament will take
place August 22nd. It supports the little seeds of our faith- the School
children of our Parish.
You can play as an individual for $62.50 or gather a team for
$250.00. If you can’t make it for golf, join us for dinner at $15.00 and participate
at the auction.
It begins at approximately 6:30p.m. and is "First Come, First
Serve Basis" Another good way to help is by being a hole sponsor for $50.00
It is one of the best fund raisers we have at St. Joseph and over
the last 12 years we have raised more than $100,000 for the school. When you see Monkey
and Dude Pratte you might thank them for this wonderful work they do in heading up the
golf tournament every year.
There will be someone in the back of church taking your
reservation for the next 3 weeks.
Donations are also gladly accepted.
PLEASE HELP! The St. Vincent de Paul food pantry has requested
that only aluminum cans be placed in their container on Benham Street. Please tie up the
bag before dropping them off. Cans have been found on the ground and must be picked up
before they can be removed. Non aluminum products have been found and cannot be used.

We are planning our annual ladies retreat on October 3-4-5 at
King’s House located in Belleville, Ill. It is a time to nourish our relationship
with God!
Due to limited space we are asking you to register by September.
Car pools will be available for our groups. We will meet on Friday evening at 3:30p.m. in
the school parking lot. We will return between 1:30p.m. and 2:00p.m. on Sunday. An
elevator has been installed for the handicap and those that can’t take the stairs to
their rooms.
King’s House is a wonderful place for quite time with God. We
will have reflective talks, walking time to talk with God with your special thoughts and
prayers. Please take advantage of this opportunity for yourself and reach out to God for
healing and grace.
