Last week Father John announced and had inserts in the bulletin
about the volunteer Committee Chairmans names and their activities. These forms have
been placed in the pews this week.
Please take a moment and look over the jobs needed to make our
once a year, annual festival successful.
Saturday volunteers are very important for setting up and kitchen
help to peel potatoes, preparing slaw and other dinner food preparation.
Every booth and dinner helper is important and greatly
appreciated.
Again please fill in your name and phone number where we can reach
you, along with the job number you would like to work.
Volunteers are asked to work 2 hour shifts, write in the hours you
are available. The Committee Chairpersons will call you to confirm your shift time.
Monday volunteers are needed to dismantle booths, tents and clean up. Please complete the
form if you can help. Free lunch is provided on both Saturday and Monday for all volunteer
workers.
Please remember to tell your family and friends to spread the word
about our festival to have a fun time while supporting our parish and the Christian
Community on Sunday, September 21, 2008
St. Josephs Annual Golf Tournament
St. Josephs will be holding its sixteenth annual benefit
golf tournament at Terre Du Lac Golf Course on August 15, 2008. It will be a 4 person
scramble-flighted. Tee Time is 1:00 P.M. Please register by completing the form which is

New Release
Archdiocesan Office of Sacred Music to hold auditions for
Archdiocesan Choirs.The Office of Sacred Music of the Archdiocese of St. Louis announces
auditions for the Archdiocesan Adult, Childrens, and Handbell Choirs. The choirs
lead the sung prayer at all major Archdiocesan Liturgies. Of particular importance this
year will be the Holy Masses of Thanksgiving and Installation when a new Archbishop is
appointed. Additionally, the choir will perform at Carnegie Hall and St. Patricks
Cathedral in New York City in June of 2009.
