Last week Father John announced and had inserts in the bulletin
all about the volunteer Committee Chairman’s names and their activities. These forms
have been placed in the pews this week.
Please take a moment and look over the jobs needed to make our
once a year, annual festival successful.
Saturday volunteers are so very important for setting up and
kitchen help to peel potatoes, preparing slaw and other dinner food preparation.
Every booth and dinner helper is important and greatly
appreciated.
Again please fill in your name and phone number where we can reach
you, along with the job number you would like to work.
Volunteers are asked to work 2 hour shifts, write in the hours you
are available. The Committee Chairperson’s will call you to confirm your shift time.
Monday volunteers are needed to dismantle booths, tents and clean up. Please complete the
form if you can help. Free lunch is provided on both Saturday and Monday for all volunteer
workers.
Please remember to tell your family and friends to spread the word
about our festival to have a fun time while supporting our parish and the Christian
Community on Sunday, September 21,2008
Your Invited
St. Lawrence Parish, Lawrenceton, MO will hold its Annual Picnic,
Sunday, July 20, 2008, on the parish grounds. Delicious dinners featuring Home Fried
Chicken and Kettle Beef along with Liver Dumplings and all the trimmings will be served
starting at 11:00 AM. We feature handmade quilts at our Bingo, a Country Store and games
for young and old. Take I-55 south or north to Bloomsdale exit #157. Go west on Highway Y
for seven miles and you are at the picnic!

20, 2008 at 2016 Grothe Road, 3 miles North of Wentzville, Hwy P to Grothe Road.
Fried Chicken and Roast Beef dinners are served Family Style,
Carry Outs are also Available. Serving begins at 11:30 a.m. and will end at 7:00 p.m.
Prices from Adults are $10.00, Children Ages 4 – 10 are $5.00 and Ages 3 and Under
are free.
Open – air dining hall, indoor restrooms, cool, shady picnic
grove ample parking, Amusements, Handmade Quilts, and Live Music
