Are you having problems paying for your medications or do you know
of anyone who needs help? If so, contact the SVDP on any Monday or Friday from 9:00 a.m.
11:00 a.m. A program
has now been implemented whereby you may receive your medications
at no cost. It is not necessary to go through the East Missouri Action Agency. This is
strictly a SVDP program.
The SVDP will provide you with a signed form which your doctor can
use to document the prescriptions that you need. Simply send in this form. A list of all
medications available will be listed on the back of this form. You must come
in to receive this signed form.

Picnic 2009
Our picnic was fabulous. The crowd was festive despite the rain.
Over 800 people enjoyed delicious dinners prepared by our awesome picnic chefs. The band
was lively and the bingo tables were busy. Everyone had a great time. Thank you to all who
came and supported the St. Anne picnic.
Father John and the Parish Council would like to extend their
appreciation to all who worked before, during and after the picnic. Without your help the
picnic could not be held year after year.

St. Joseph - Farmington
St. Joseph Catholic Church in Farmington will hold their 35th Annual Parish Picnic on Sunday, June 28, 2009. The picnic begins
at 11:00 a.m. and continues until 5:00 p.m. Come and enjoy games, entertainment and fun.
Special Guests
The priests of the archdiocese will enjoy their annual Melchisedec
Open Golf Tournament this week at Terre du Lac. Father John will host the priests for
dinner on Wednesday, June 17.

Mother of Perpetual Help
Come pray with us the Devotions to our Mother of Perpetual Help at
7:55 a.m. on Tuesdays before Mass.
Missouris Largest
Diaper Shower
Gods Lifesavers are sponsoring a Diaper Shower
and will be collecting disposable diapers of any size. Diapers will be donated to various
agencies in St. Francois County where they can be distributed to families in need. The
collection of these disposable diapers will start on Mothers Day, May 10th, and end
on Fathers Day June 21st. The locations that will accept these donations include
Birthright, Parkland Pregnancy Center, and the St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry.

effort to help Catholics, especially younger generations, use new tech-nologies to create
a culture of dialogue, respect and friendship. You may access these new applications at
