CONGRATULATIONS ON A SUCCESSFUL PICNIC!
The beautiful weather and a large crowd made this years

amount includes the startup money of $3,275.00.
As soon as all the bills are turned in and paid and any
outstanding money has been collected a financial statement will be published. To speed up
the process, please see that all bills and outstanding revenues are turned into the
Rectory.
A huge thank you to everyone who worked at setting up and
cleaning up. Also thanks to everyone who worked so hard and supported the picnic in any
way.
Winners of the Raffle are: First Prize, Gary Halbrook; Second
Prize ,Ken Maupin; Third Prize,Ron White; Fourth Prize, Gene Wingbermuehle and Fifth
Prize, Tim Schlemeier.
DAUGHTERS OF ISABELLA
The regular meeting will begin at 7:00p.m. on Monday, June 9th.
We are just two weeks away from our St. Joseph Picnic and
Festival. Thanks to a dedicated team of committee chairs and you, the volunteers, we have
made great progress in our planning!!
There are some items we need to cover:
If there is anyone who will run our dunking tank please call the
Rectory at 358-2112. We bought this tank a year ago and without anyone to run it we can
not get a return on our money.
Pat Schwarz would like to hear from those who can donate plants
for the Plant Stand. She needs to get them early so she can have them ready for the
Festival. Please call her at 562-2819.
Pies and cakes are still needed for the dinner.
There are several people who said they would like to help but they
will be out of town or busy that day. Here is a way!! In addition to getting a pie, cake
or plant to us, there is a direct way you can help. A cash donation to help offset the
cost of the show would be a nice way to help. If you are so motivated, please send a check
to the church marked for the Festival. Any amount given over $25.00 will be appreciated
and we will post your name as sponsor of the Plummer Family.
We have a special request. One of the reasons given for not
attending our Festival is the lack of parking. As a worker you can be a big help. If you
will park in the lot behind the Bonne Terre School it will open up several parking slots.
We will have a drop off zone in front of the church for those you need to bring items. We
understand this is new and less convenient but it will help make our Festival more
acceptable to those who visit us.
This year is set to be a big one. The Plummer Family, Bingo played
for quilts made in Branson, Ted Drews Frozen Custard, Guss Pretzel, some new games
and the new chicken cooking process should pack the house. But
only if you plan to be with us and bring some friends.
