ST. ANNE PARISH FRENCH VILLAGE, MO. This weekend we celebrate our annual PICNIC at St. Anne. If you are a member of St. Joseph Parish, please support our sister Parish as they do for us in so many ways. If you are a visitor, I encourage you to travel that less traveled road from Highway K to Highway D, turn left to Highway Y, turn right and the Church is about a mile down the road on the left. You will enjoy one of the best home cooked meals of the summer. In the spirit of friendly and family support, lets help them make this their best PICNIC ever.Father John Bingo Figures for May 21, 2002 Envelopes $3011.00 $946.00 Loose 327.07 55.00 Childrens Env. 1.00 JONAH TEAMS JONAH TEAMS is a relatively new ministry within the Archdiocese. People pray briefly with people in their parish after Sunday Mass for those who ask for prayer. There are two training sessions required. After asking your pastor for you to be trained, please contact Ramona Neumann at 314-351-6061 to register. The deacons of the Archdiocese of St. Louis and myself would like to express our support for Fr. John Schneider, and the entire priest community. I invite the members of our parish community to clip and use the prayer below daily to strengthen them during these difficult times. DEACON RON KREFT A PRAYER FOR PRIESTS Lord Jesus, you have chosen your priests from among us and sent them out to proclaim your word and to act in your name. For so great a gift to your Church, we give you praise and thanksgiving. We ask you to fill them with the fire of your love, that their ministry my reveal your presence in the Church. Since they are earthen vessels, we pray that your power shine through their weakness. In their afflictions, let them never be crushed; in their doubts, never despair; in temptation, never be destroyed; in persecution, never abandoned. Inspire them through prayer to live each day the mystery of your dying and rising. In time of weakness send them your Spirit, and help them to praise your heavenly Father. By the same Holy Spirit, put your word on their lips and your love in their hearts, to bring good news to the poor and healing to the broken-hearted. And may the gift of Mary, your Mother, be your gift to every priest. Grant that she, who formed you in her human image, may form them in your divine Image, by the power of your Spirit and for the glory of God the Father. Amen. SACRISTY CLEANING June 8 A. Mosberger, B.
