ST. JOSEPH FESTIVAL 2006
Last week a sheet was provided in the pews to be
filled out and returned, if you are available to help with FESTIVAL 2006.We had a good response
and someone will be contacting you to confirm the TIME AND TYPE OF HELP you
can provide. We still need two pies from
each family. Our FESTIVAL 2006 is just around the
corner. Please ask someone this week to come
to the dinner and sell as many RAFFLE
TICKETS as you can. Once again we are
asking for your help. The FESTIVAL 2006 is going to be different. We are concentrating on the DINNER BINGO
and RAFFLE. The signup sheets are in
the pews again. If you have not yet committed to helping please reconsider.

ANNUAL CATHOLIC APPEAL
Thank you for your
generous response to the ANNUAL CATHOLIC APPEAL.
We are close to our
goal established by the Archdiocese and I am sure we will reach it again for the 15th
consecutive year. If you have not made your
pledge yet or at least signed your card you can still do so after all the masss this
weekend.
Dear Parishioners,
Please join us the weekend of May 20, 2006 to
hear Rev. Anthony P. Palazzolo speak at all the masses about a ministry providing direct
relief to the poor throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
Father Palazzolo will share what he has
witnessed about Food For The Poors mission to care for the destitute as a means of
living out the Gospel mandate to love one another.
Fr. Palazzolo was ordained for the Diocese of
Mandeville in Jamaica in 1993.
Please join me in welcoming Father Palazzolo.
