2009 Annual Catholic Appeal
Everyone is welcomed to the flock by Jesus, regardless of
background. As Jesus committed His life to being the "one shepherd," we, too,
must commit ourselves as Catholics, to providing service to all. Jesus tells His
disciples, "I lay down my life in order to take it up again". Taking up
Jesus challenge to shepherd all who are in need is how Catholics everywhere can
"Go in peace to love and serve the Lord". Supporting the ACA is a powerful way
to express this love of neighbor. Please support those who will benefit from the 2009
Annual Catholic Appeal Go in peace to love and serve the
Lord. You can meet some of the people who benefit at www.archstl.org/stewardship.
Welcome to St. Louis,
Archbishop Carlson!
The website for the Archdiocese of St. Louis, as
well as the website for the St. Louis Review, have posted a biography and a photo gallery
of our new Archbishop-Elect Robert J. Carlson. You can also follow up-to-the minute
postings of events as they occur. You may log onto www.archstl.organd/or www.stlouisreview.comfor complete
coverage. A Message for the Youth is also available for download at www.stlyouth.org.

All are invited to attend a Mission at Immaculate
Conception Church in Park Hills Sunday Tuesday, May 3rd, 4th, and 5th, 2009, 7:00

travels the country speaking about his love for the Most Holy Eucharist. This Mission
offers three nights of inspiration, laughter and the sharing of faith and knowledge.
Parish youth are encouraged to come on Tuesday evening, May 5th.

Birthright at the same time. Birthright offers free, confidential help in our community
and is in need of funds to continue the work of saving unborn lives and easing the burdens
of those faced with untimely pregnancy. Mothers Day Cards may be picked up at the
table in the back of Church.

Mothers Day, which can be used to offer a spiritual remembrance for your Mother.
