Eucharistic Adoration
"The Eucharist is a priceless treasure: by not only
celebrating it but also by praying before it outside of Mass we are enabled to make

The celebration of the Eucharistic Adoration will begin at 8:30 a.m. on
Friday, May 7th, and conclude with the Benediction at 5:00 p.m. Please sign up for your
time to be spent with the Lord.
URGENT - Help Needed
We are in urgent need of someone to train thisyear for
the Bingo at the St. Anne Picnic which will be held on June 13, 2010. Please call Shirley
Byington at 358-3945 or Kim Loveless at 358-1377 as soon as possible if you would be
willing to train this year and then take over the Bingo operation next year for the
picnic.

Picnic
2010
It is that time again! Mark your calendar for Sunday, June 13, 2010 and share
in the fun and fellowship of the St. Anne Picnic, French Village. We will be serving fried
chicken, kettle beef and liver dumplings. The dinner tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for
children. There will be a Live Band and games for adults and children. Bingo will begin at
1:00 p.m. and will feature quilts as well as cash prizes. The top raffle prize is $1,000
cash. The dinner and fun will begin at 11:00 a.m. and continue until 5:00 p.m.
Thank you to all who have donated to the Country Store/Fancy Stand. We are
still in need of handcrafted gifts, books, homemade jellies, jams, relishes, and gently
used items.

Mark Byington
We are proud to announce that Mark Byington will be ordained to the
Sacred Order of the Permanent Diaconate on Saturday, June 5, 2010, at the Cathedral
Basilica of St. Louis.
There will be a reception for Mark in the Church Hall following the Mass at
5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Knights of Columbus will host a dinner in Marks honor at
7:30 p.m. at the Hall. There are extra invitations in the back of Church if you would like
to attend our celebration. Please write your name and the number of attendees on the
invitation and drop it in the collection basket.
Annual Catholic Appeal
Our volunteers will be available after the Masses this weekend to help you
with your pledge to the Annual Catholic Appeal.
Mothers Day Cards
Mothers Day is May 9th. What are you planning to do for your mother?
Birthright of Hillsboro is holding their Mothers Day Card fundraising project again
this year. Consider honoring your mother or other special women in your life while
supporting Birthright at the same time. Birthright offers free, confidential help in our
community and is in need of funds to continue the work of saving unborn lives and easing
the burdens of those faced with untimely pregnancy. Mothers Day Cards can be picked
up at the Church exit. An envelope for sending your donation to Birthright is included.

be available as an insert in next Sundays bulletin.
Donut Sunday
We invite you to come and enjoy fellowship with your Church family this
morning, along with the coffee, donuts and orange juice.
Vatican Splendors
St. Louis is privileged to host the largest Vatican exhibition ever to visit
North America, Vatican Splendors: A Journey through Faith and Art. educational
exhibit will open for a limited engagement beginning May 15that the Missouri History
Museum. The art objects are presented in recreated environments chronicling our
Churchs history from St. Peter to Pope Benedict XVI. Tickets may be purchased at the
box office or by calling 1-877-2VATICAN.
