Prayer For The
First Communicants
Dear Jesus,
Through bread and wine at the Last Supper, and by Your Holy
Word, You gave the Eucharist
to Your church. You transformed common food into His Body and
Blood, and offered us a share in Your life in ways we still cannot fully understand. Grant
now that Christi Calvert, Stephanie DeGonia, Maitlan Halter, Nathan Hambrick, Olivia
Hampton, Abigail Inserra, Kennedy Kohler, Jonah Lappe, Katie Lenhardt, Cassidy Molitor,
Tori Propst, Emily Rasnic, and Carly Stephens will will always treasure the gift they have
in You.
Give them the grace to be faithful to You and to remain in
communion with Your church.
When they receive their First Communion, the Bread of Life and
Cup of Salvation, make them aware of the hope they have for eternal life in You.
Amen.
Congratulations to the First Communicants, their parents and teachers.
Deanery Meeting
St. Anne Church in French Village will host our next Deanery Meeting on
Tuesday, April 20th.
Annual Catholic Appeal
All that we have above all life itself God has given to each of
us mysteriously and without question. We must find the link between that Love and our
human ability to love others. Please respond generously to the 2010 Annual Catholic
Appeal.
We will have a video this weekend and our volunteers will have your pledge
cards available.
Daughters of Isabella
Members clear your calendars. We need your help serving the "Top
Ten" Dinner for North County High School students and their parents on Monday, May
3th. We will need volunteers to come to the cafeteria at 3:00 p.m. to prepare, serve and
clean up. Please bring two pies. Call Janie McCormick at 760-877-7590 or Gretchen Pratte
