Picnic
2010
It is that time again! Mark your calendar for Sunday, June 13,
2010 and share in the fun and fellowship of the St. Anne Picnic, French Village. We will
be serving fried chicken, kettle beef with potatoes and gravy, liver dumplings, and all
the trimmings. Dine in our air-conditioned hall or outside in the screened in area. The
dinner tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children. There will be games for adults and
children, Bingo, and a Live Band. The raffle prizes include $1,000 cash prize, a 19"
color TV, a beautiful handmade quilt, and a $100 cash prize. The dinner and fun will begin
at 11:00 a.m. and continue until 5:00 p.m. Bring the family we have something for
everyone!
Knights of Columbus
Father John, the staff and the students would like to thank the Knights of
Columbus for their generous donation to St. Joseph School in the amount of $10,500.00.
This represents the proceeds from their weekly Lenten Fish Fries.
May God bless them in their efforts and may we continue to support them.

Mark Byington
We are proud to announce that Mark Byington will be ordained to
the Sacred Order of the Permanent Diaconate on Saturday, June 5th at the Cathedral
Basilica of St. Louis. Plans are being finalized for a reception and dinner in honor of
Mark. In the near future, we will ask you to RSVP in order that we may make plans for our
celebration
"A Spring Wine Tasting"
Celebrate Spring! We invite you and your friends to come to our
Second Annual Spring Wine Tasting and Silent Auction Fundraiser on Saturday, May 1st. You
will have a chance to pick up your complimentary St. Joseph wine glasses, play the 50/50
raffle, and bid on some really exceptional baskets. Wine tasting begins at 6:30 p.m. A
local winery is providing two new craft beers from their microbrewery. The Knights of
Columbus Hall, which is located at 7897 Berry Road, will host this fundraiser. Bring a
group of friends for a fun evening and help the school at the same time.
Tickets are available from the Home and School Association. Individual
tickets are $20 or you may reserve a table of 8 for $150. Please call the school at

Welcome!
Let us welcome into our parish family the following members of
the RCIA who completed their preparation for the Paschal Feast at the Easter Vigil:
Brandee Ann House, Amanda Gail Overmann, Sandra Kay Pipkin, Pamela Kaye Schwartz, Keely
Wayne Stotler, and Thomas Randall Wann.
Callie Olmem, Amanda Willette and Amber Willette completed their sacramental
initiation and received the gifts of the Holy Spirit in the Sacrament of Confirmation at
the Easter Vigil.
Please keep them in your
prayers and may God continue to bless them on their spiritual journey of faith.
Feast of Divine Mercy
The Feast of Divine Mercy, or Divine Mercy Sunday, is observed
on the octave of Easter, celebrating the fullness of Christs Resurrection. This
year, the feast will be celebrated on April 11th. To receive the graces of the plenary
indulgence on Divine Mercy Sunday, the faithful must receive the Sacrament of
Reconciliation on or before Divine Mercy Sunday; receive a worthy Communion; and pray the
