ST. ANNE CHURCH,
FRENCH VILLAGE, MO.
Thanks to all who came to the picnic meeting last Sunday following
Mass. We still need a lot of help! If you can give of yourself to help us with the picnic
in any way please place your name on the sign up sheet in the back of church. The Home and
School Association will hold their monthly Breakfast on Sunday, April 17th.>A
delicious meal of bacon, French toast, biscuits and gravy will be served.Take the
opportunity to enjoy some good food and lessen your time in the kitchen. Breakfast will be
served after the Masses. All proceeds will go to benefit the St. Joseph School.
The first meeting of Our Lady
Sodality was held on Monday, April 4th. Officers elected are President,
Janet Mecey : Vice-President: Becky Kelly, Secretary: Ruth Hunt, and Treasurer: Mary Wood.
The
Sodality will begin their activities by collecting and making rosaries. These new refurbished rosaries will be sent to our
Catholic men and women in the Armed Forces. Anyone wishing to donate their extra rosaries
may do so by placing them in the box labeled Rosaries for Our Service Men and
Women located in the back of church. It
will remain in the church during the month of April. When we contacted the military they
seemed to appreciate the offering.
People of St. Joseph and St. Anne
YOUR THE
BEST
Thank
you so very much for all the prayers, Masses, flowers, memorials, cards, love and support
given to Ron (and myself) through out this whole time of Rons illness and even until
his death. He loved and appreciated all of
you so much.
Upon
death, the thoughtfulness given to him and our family was like none other. The black
wreaths at the doors, banners, childrens Mass, beautiful choir, tears, the many
stories of Ron that we shared, all the home prepared casseroles, desserts, cooks, servers,
table settings, and what ever I may have forgotten to mention.
The memory of this love will stay
in the hearts of our children and grandchildren forever.
Love, June
P.S. Lets not forget Father
Johns wonderful homily.
