Regina Cleri Collection
We have received the
following letter:
To the Faithful of the Archdiocese of St. Louis Alleluia! He is Risen!
These words have resounded throughout
history for more than 2,000 years and they resonate in our hearts today as we celebrate
the glorious feast of Easter.
For those of us who
have truly responded to Christs call for prayer, sacrifice, and almsgiving during
our Lenten journey, this is indeed a time of great joy and hope.
The feast of Easter is the highpoint of
the liturgical year and is a reminder of our own potential resurrection.
Let us continue to pray for each other and
resolve to spread the Good News of the Resurrection in our daily lives.
I ask for your generous response to the
Regina Cleri Collection taken today in all our parishes. The retired priests have served
us well and need our prayerful, as well as financial support.
Sincerely yours in Christ,
Most Reverend Robert J. Carlson Archbishop of St. Louis
