application from the rectory. Students must
attend a Parochial Elementary School or an Archdiocesan, Regional or Parochial High School

MISSOURI GOVERNORS BUDGET MAY IMPACT HOSPICE CARE (PROLIFE)
We need your help!
As you may be aware, Governor Matt Blunt has proposed eliminating the
Medicaid Hospice Benefit from the State
Budget. Countless numbers of terminally ill
patients and their families have received quality life care and assistance through the
hospice Program. Future recipients and their
care are at stake. Your voice can make a
difference. Please write your legislators and
let them know you oppose this budget cut that will eliminate financial support for people
who are dying, in pain, alone and without dignity. A
listing of legislators is provided in the back of church.
Sample letters can assist you in formulating your personal message. These can be obtained at the church office.
Please act quickly before time runs
out. Thank you for your compassion.
THE FUNDAMENTAL OPTION
Today we celebrate the third
scrutiny. The Elect are invited to make their
fundamental option to choose good over bad life over death. From this point on they are not to make an
inventory of their life i.e. that they are neither good nor bad or that they have
succeeded or failed. But that God loves them
and that He offers his mercy in all that they do.
