This weekend, there will be a special collection for the Black and
Indian Missions program. This collection assists African American Catholics and Native
American Catholics with the work of evangelization here in our Archdiocese and in others
across the country. It is a chance to respond with generosity to the Lord’s graces
during the Lenten season. Envelopes are in your packets, or at the church entrances.
The Daughters of Isabella Meeting will be held on Monday, March 10 at 7:00p.m. Last
month was an interesting meeting with State Regant, Pat Gebkin, as our special guest. A
delicious dinner was served. Come this month and join us! A reminder to the Daughters that
have not paid their 2003 membership dues. Please remit to: Daughters of Isabella, c/o June

Please welcome Daniel Charles Jansen and Erin Kay Gantz to our

Attend Mass on weekdays whenever possible.
Attend communal Reconciliation services.
Remember your morning and evening prayers.
Attend Eucharistic devotions on the first Friday of the month.
Come to the Stations of the Cross on Wednesday or Friday mornings.
Recitation of the Rosary for world peace.
Participate in the Rice Bowl Program.
Pray with a "We Believe" group.

KNIGHTS OF
COLUMBUS
FISH FRY
The Knights of Columbus invites everyone to their Lenten Fish Fry on Friday evening,
March 14, in the Church Hall. Serving begins at 4:00p.m. until 7:00p.m.Adults
$6.50/Children $3.00. Carry-outs will be available. Everyone’s Welcome. All proceeds
go to benefit St. Joseph School.

In the Old Testament God revealed himself to our ancestors in
faith through the prophets. In the New Testament God reveals himself to us through his
Son, Jesus Christ. It is through Jesus that God moves among us in order to invite and
receive us into his company. There is no new revelation. Jesus Christ is the fullness of
God’s self-revelation. Jesus reveals the Father by words and works and by signs and
miracles, but above all by his death and resurrection. We are called to understand this
revelation ever more fully through study, reflection, prayer, and living.
Our Youth Group meets every Sunday from 6:30p.m. until 8:00p.m. On March 9th BRING A FRIEND for games and movies. March 16 will be a QUESTION AND ANSWER SESSION with Father John with a social hour
following. A trip is planned for St. Louis on March 23rd or 30th.
Parents please call PAULETTE DEGONIA AT 358-4041if you can
drive or chaperone. We are asking the you encourage all the youth of St. Joseph and St.
Anne to come and enjoy our company and share the experiences of our newly organized YOUTH GROUP. All are welcome!
The ladies of St. Anne, St. Joseph and guests are invited to a
special retreat for women, Saturday, April 5th from 9:00a.m. until 2:30p.m.
Confessions can be heard immediately following. The retreat is entitled "Blessed in
God’s Sight: Discovering the Spiritual Self as Beheld by God." The Retreat is
being offered by the Daughters of Isabelle. Registration forms can be found in the
bulletin today or call Claudine at 358-7516, Jeanette at 358-3830 or Beverly at 358-2112.
The St. Vincent De Paul will not have their regular meeting this
month. The next scheduled meeting will be on April 8, at 7:00p.m. Please mark your
calendars.
