TUITION ASSISTANCE
In the past, families with gross incomes of more than
$60,000 have not received tuition assistance grants from
the Catholic Family Tuition Assistance Endowment Fund unless there were extenuating
circumstances. However, all applications submitted will be reviewed and considered under
the parameters of the computer analysis program by the committee. A report of grant
recipients and non-recipients is given to the Pastor or the high school principal in June.
All applicant families will receive an award or denial letter after that. Applications are
available at the rectory. The due date is March 3, 2003, and must
include a copy of your 2002 Federal Income Tax
Return.
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
The Knights of Columbus and Ladies Auxiliary of St. Francois,
Council 5359, invite you to their tenth Annual Dinner Auction on March 8, 2003 at Orlando

like to thank Ron & Shirley Byington for the wonderful job they did in cleaning the
church during the month of February. Evan and Kimberly Loveless have signed up to clean
the church for the month of March. Many thanks!
Just a reminder about the special retreat day offered to the women
of St. Anne and St. Joseph parish by the Daughters of Isabella. The retreat
entitled"Blessed in God’s sight: Discovering the Spiritual Self as Beheld by
God" will begin at 9:00 am on Saturday, April 5 and will conclude at 2:30p.m.
Confessions will be available at 3:30p.m.

You are asked to bring a brown bag lunch. Dessert and coffee/tea
will be provided.
Come and spend the day with Sister Carol and experience how God
reaches out to us and how we might respond.
Our local Boy Scouts will share in the liturgies of the Mass
today. They will be in uniform and will sit together in the front of church. Let us
welcome and show them that we are proud to have them with us.
You are invited to coffee and donuts that will be served after all
the Masses next weekend.
WE BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST LENT 2003
This is a final reminder that our Lenten adult faith
formation program will begin the week of March 2nd. We Believe in
Jesus Christ is the name of Season Two in the We
Believe…series on the Nicene Creed. Season Two consists of six weekly
sessions. This series is being offered for adults of all ages in parishes throughout our
archdiocese.
Each session in Season Two will invite us to learn about and
reflect on what we mean when we recite the words of the Nicene Creed at Sunday Mass. We
invite all the adults and young adults of our parish to take part in this program. We
encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to grow in faith.
We Believe in Jesus Christ will be
offered in a small group format on Tuesday mornings following Mass led by Louise Sickman
in the Church meeting room. Another group will meet with Father John following Mass on
Wednesday mornings. You may also choose to join small groups that will meet in
someone’s home. We hope you will be able to be part of one of our small groups.
We have Bingo every Tuesday. Doors open at 3:30p.m. Speedball beings at
5:30p.m., Early Birds at 6:15p.m. and regular Talley’s at 8:00p.m. Delicious food is
available. Team #3 is scheduled for this week with Captain Chris Willette. Everyone has
been sent their schedule for working. Come downstairs and sharean evening of fun!
Sorry, due to the weather we missed a fun evening last Sunday. We
will meet this Sunday, February 23rd from 6:30p.m. until 8:00p.m. BRING A FRIEND! There will be a snack /game social hour. We will
decide what you want to plan for next week’s activity….. BRING YOUR IDEAS.
