The Knights of Columbus Lenten Fish Fry
will be held this Friday, February 18th and will be held every Friday until
Good Friday. Serving time will be from
4:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. Carry – out are
available. An adult plate is $7.00. A child’s plate is $3.00. As in past years, all proceeds will go to benefit
St. Joseph School. Everyone is invited to

SHRINES JOURNEY
We had our first meeting last Sunday for the
pilgrimage to Fatima and Lourdes and the response was wonderful. There are still 12 spaces still available for our
customized tour. This can be six couples or
twelve people.
The
next meeting will be April 10th in the church meeting room. I would ask that all who are interested please
turn in your $300.00 deposit before then. You
can mail it to me or bring it by the rectory. The
check must be made to Unitours. Please do not
make your check to St. Joseph Church or to me personally.
Please make sure that you have a valid passport. A copy of your passport must be included with your
check and your reservation form. It looks likes it is going to be a nice group and I would
be honored to be with you on this pilgrimage.
MATTHEW 26-28:

At Gethsemane, Jesus took Peter, James and
John to a spot away from the other disciples and asked them to watch with Him as He
prepared for His suffering and death. However,
the three apostles fell asleep. Jesus, who
had submitted to the Fathers will through his prayer, was strengthened through prayer to
meet suffering. The disciples, not having
submitted to God’s will through prayer, were unprepared to meet the crisis of the
Passion with courage and loyalty.
SOCK HOP/CONCERT TO BENEFIT St. JOSEPH
CATHOLIC SCHOOL
A Sock Hop/Concert is scheduled on Saturday,
March 5, 2005 from 7:00p.m. to 11:00p.m. at the VFW Post 6883, Bonne Terre, Mo.
An
advance ticket is $10.00 per person. This
will include an Italian Dinner//Concert/and a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas. A ticket for $10.00 purchased at the door will
include the Italian Dinner and Concert only. Children under 12 are free. A Cash Bar is
available along with Attendance Prizes and a Give Away Trip to Las Vegas. A $2.00 raffle ticket will give you a chance to
win a one week’s stay in Las Vegas with accommodation’s for eight and air fare
for two.
Tickets
will go on sale the weekend of February 19th
and 20th. You may purchase them after all the Masses at St.Joseph Church, St.
Anne Church, Immaculate Conception, Wal Mart in Desloge and Farmington and also at Country
Mart in Bonne Terre.
This
will be a fun evening for the young and old. Come
and enjoy the food, dance a little and maybe win some nice prizes.
