The domestic virtues, based upon a profound respect
for human life and dignity, and practiced in understanding, patience, mutual encouragement
and forgiveness, enable the community of the family to live out the first and fundamental
experience of peace.
Message for World of Peace, January 1, 1994
Pope
John Paul II
OUR LADY SODALITY
Our Ladys Sodality would like to thank
all who came and helped make the LADIES DAY OF RETREAT a success. The day was enjoyed by all. It was agreed to have a day of retreat again later
in the year. The date has been set for December 9, 2006 with Father Joe Pitts. Seventy- three women were in attendance.
The Sodality has raised enough money to
purchase a new refrigerator for the meeting room, two cabinets and several totes to be
used in the kitchen. Good going girls!!!
Bring your taste buds with you to the next
meeting, February 21, 2006 at 6:30p.m. We
will have fried chicken and all the
trimmings. Bring a friend and enjoy the fun. Our new schedule of events will disscussed
for the upcoming months. Please RSVP to Janet
Mecey at 358-0684 or Becky Kelly at 358-5369. We
want to be sure to have enough food!

MARRIAGE ENCOUNTER
Have you always wanted to make a Marriage
Encounter and join thousands of couples who have made their marriage a priority in their
lives? Marriage Encounter is designed to
deepen and enrich the joys a couple shares together, whether they have been married for
only a short time, or many years. Many people
are not able to get away for a traditional Encounter Weekend so an alternate format has
been devised that does not require an overnight stay.
This Marriage Encounter Experience will take place on February, 26, 28,
March 1, 5, 2006 at St. Cletus Parish in St. Charles.
Why not give your kids the best gift that they can get
Parents with a
great Marriage! Register today by calling 314-469-7317.
Both St. Joseph and St. Anne parishes would like
to welcome Archbishop Raymond L. Burke for his regular parochial visit. In addition to the visit he has come to bless the
Knights of Columbus Council 1088s new hall and meeting center.
After his spiritual duties he will join the
invited guests in a wonderful country luncheon. Praise
God for Pope Benedict XVI and the spiritual leader he has given us in Archbishop Burke. Please pray for both of them to continue to carry
out Gods work in the world.
ATTENTION!!!!
IF YOU
WOULD LIKE TO DROP OFF SOMETHING FOR THE OFFICE AFTER HOURS PLEASE SLIDE IT THROUGH THE
WINDOW IN THE FOYER.
