Mandatory Safe
Environment
Compliance Update
The Archdiocese of St. Louis requires all
Parish Safe Environment Coordinators to complete documents on each individual in their
database in the year 2010. Presently, Char Gestring, our volunteer Safe Environment
Coordinator, has requested State of Missouri criminal background checks on the 78
individuals in the St. Joseph/
St. Anne database. Each individual is required to submit
a copy of their drivers license and Social Security card and donate a one time cost
of $9.00 to cover the cost of this paperwork. Everyone registered in this program will
receive a copy of their background screening result at their home address on record.
In addition, all parish employees, teachers and
volunteers who are involved with our parish children on a regular basis are required to
attend a two hour training/educational Protecting Gods Children Program.
We commend Char Gestring for her continued thoroughness
and diligence in the implementation of this program which helps to keep our children safe.
St. Louis Review
For $23.00 a year, the St. Louis Review provides a tool
to learn about our faith and be informed about whats going on in our local Catholic
community. The Review features stories about Catholics and how their faith affects the
lives they lead.
Please use the subscription renewal envelope in your
envelope packet and return it in the Sunday collection as soon as possible. If you do not
want the Review, then please write "NO" on your envelope and return in the
Sunday collection or call the Parish Office
Tax Statements
Tax Statements for the year 2009 are now available in the back of
Church. If you have received a statement in the past, one has been automatically generated
for you. Please call the Parish Office if you need a statement and one has not been
printed for you.
