PICNIC 2009
Country Store: This year the Country Store will be more of a
Fancy Stand with a lot of homemade items. We could use quilts, pillowcases, scarves, baby
items, (sweaters, booties, afghans etc.). We could also use jams, jellies, canned
vegetables, and fresh vegetables--any and all that you can spare. If you have any

The PICNIC is six months away. The time will pass quickly. Your
help in gathering the items now is greatly appreciated.
Christmas Decorations Needed
If you have any holiday decorations that you do
not need, please consider giving them to the parish. We especially
need trees and lights. However, anything can and will be used.
Daughters of Isabella
The next Circle meeting will be Monday, January 12, 2009, starting
at 7:00 p.m. The praying of the Rosary will begin at 6:45 p.m.
This month, the special guest will be our State Regent, Mary Jo
Balinger. She will be making her annual visit. Please make a special effort to attend.
We would like to welcome all ladies to join us at the first
meeting of 2009. Thank you to all who attended the Christmas party, especially the new
faces. It was enjoyable, and the food was outstanding. Hope to see you Monday!!!
Our Lady Sodality
Bring your lunch. Drinks and dessert will be provided. All ladies
are invited to our open meeting on Tuesday, January 20, 2009.

Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus, Council 1088 will not have their monthly
Fish Fry in January. The Lenten Fish Fry will begin on February 27, 2009. Please watch the

Chicken and Dumpling Night will return on February 5, 2009.
