We are pleased to announce
that our food pantry has received a grant from the Annual Catholic Appeal. This will enable the men and women who work so
diligently for our food pantry to continue feeding the many needy people who come to our
food pantry.
In truth, I see that God shows no
partiality. Rather, in every nation whoever
fears him and acts uprightly is acceptable to him
Acts 10:34-35
Remember that God made us as human
beings, not human havings. Thus,
God will not judge us by what we have or acquire in this life. He will judge us by how much time we gave to Him
and how much we shared our many talents and blessings with others.

ST.
ANNE CHURCH,
FRENCH VILLAGE, MO.
Thank you to each and every
one whom helped make the Christmas Liturgy at St. Anne and St. Joseph so meaningful; those
who cleaned, decorated and set up the Church ; all
those who helped fill the extra liturgical roles; the Knights of Columbus Council 1088 for
the nativity scene by the old North County elementary school; the many parishioners who
selected Giving Tree ornaments and made someones Christmas brighter; those who
contributed toward the purchase of Christmas flowers; and all those who attended and
participated in Mass. A personal Thank
You from myself, Deacon Ron and Deacon Don for the many cards, gifts and prayers
during this Holiday Season. May God continue
to bless each of you for your thoughtfulness and may God continue to bring you peace,
happiness and joy.
Welcome to the Christian
community Zane Thomure, the son of Kelly and Adam Thomure.
We also welcome Adam Thomure, the father of Zane and husband to Kelly. Moreover, we welcome Joe Coleman, father of Kelly and grandfather of
Zane. We all rejoice with their family that
God has called them to His holy people.
ADORATION
BEFORE
THE BLESSED SACRAMENT
Exposition of the Most Holy Eucharist,
either in the ciborium or in the monstrance, is intended to acknowledge Christs
marvelous presence in the sacrament. Exposition
invites us to the spiritual union with him that culminates in sacramental communion at
Mass. Thus it fosters very well the worship
which is due to Christ in spirit and in truth.
There will be Adoration before the
Blessed Sacrament on Friday, January 7th. from 8:30a.m. until 5:00p.m. Benediction will follow.
YOUR DAILY PRAYERS
Please remember in your daily prayers all the
Teachers and Administrators of our schools, all the members of our Church committees
that serve so generously and give of their time and talent, please remember especially all
the young men and women that are in the military service.
May God watch over them and bring them safely home to their families and
loved ones.
WORDS
FROM MOTHER TERESA
It is easy to think of the poverty far
away and forget very quickly. Today a great disease is that feeling of terrible
loneliness, the feeling of being unwanted, having forgotten what human joy is, what the
human feeling is if being wanted or loved. I
think this is found in very well-to-do families also.
We may not have people hungry for a plate of
rice or a piece of bread
, but there is a tremendous hunger and a tremendous feeling
of unwantedness everywhere. And that is
really a very great poverty.
