Please do not forget the special picnic meeting today after Mass. Everyone interested in helping to make our Picnic a success is asked to attend.

Anyone with items for the Country Store please turn them in by July 1st. We will then have time to price the articles and it will give us an idea of what we have to offer. Fresh baked goodies will be accepted the day of the Picnic.

Anyone having quilts for the Picnic, please give to Rhonda Bender or Ruth Basler. We will have a quilt showing on Sunday, June 25th in the Church Hall.

We will need donations of three pies or cakes from each family. Please bring them on the morning of July 8th.

We also need fresh cucumbers for the dinner if anyone has any extra in their garden.

THANK YOU

The estate of Hugh and Jo Kuchlin has remembered the Parish. Part of this bequeath will go to the School Endowment and the rest will go to reduce the expense of the pavillion. May God bless Hugh and Jo Kuchlin who supported their Parish so well during their lives and continue to remember St. Joseph.

Today, we will have The Annual Peter's Pence Collection for the Holy Father. This collection helps support Pope John Paul's ongoing Pastoral Care for the Universal Church and his vital role as spokesperson. Please be generous.

Stephanie Rouggly will join the teaching staff at St. Joseph School as a pre-school instructor when school resumes in the fall.

She participated in the Cadet Teaching Program and the Working with Children Program at Bonne Terre Elementary while attending North County High School. During her senior year, she was awarded the Future Teachers of America Scholarship.

After completing high school, she enrolled in Mineral Junior College. In the spring of 2001, Stephanie earned an A.A. degree and is presently

Pursing a B.A. in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood At Central Methodist College.

Currently, Stephanie is employed at ABC and 123 DayCare in Bonne Terre where she has worked for three years. She is a veteran substitute and is also involved in an after-school program for lower elementary students. Recently, she completed an eight-week substituting position at St. Joseph.

Stephanie will be an asset to the school. She is experienced, energetic, patient, & affectionate with children. She is eager to begin her duties as a pre-school instructor.
