FESTIVAL NEWS

The Festival Committee would like to thank all the parishioners who picked up their packets in the back of Church. This saved on expenses. Extra raffle tickets are in the back of Church. Please send them to your relatives and friends and invite them to our Festival. The next meeting of the Festival Committee will be Tuesday, June 12 th. at 7:00PM.

Please plan to attend. We need your help to make this the best Festival that we have ever had.

We wish to thank the parents and friends of the school who recently assisted in the painting of the school. We are also grateful for the new blinds that the Home and School Association donated for the pre-school and auditorium windows.

This coming Friday and Saturday our Archdiocesan Eucharistic Congress will be held at the America’s Center, with the closing Mass at the Trans World Dome on Saturday afternoon at 5:30p.m.

Archbishop Justin Rigali invites every Catholic to participate in the Congress. Even if you have not registered for any of the conferences or received a ticket for the Mass, you are most welcome to attend without registration or ticket. You may obtain a program of events from the rectory or on the Internet at:
www.archstl.org/congress

May this great gathering of the Catholics of our local Church of St. Louis give witness to our faith in the Sacrament of the holy Eucharist.

NOTICE

There will be a charge of $6.00 per person to ride the bus to the Eucharistic Congress. Please stop by the rectory to have your name added to the list and pay this nominal fee.

GREAT ADULT EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES:

THOUGHTS
ON THE LITURGY

Next Sunday, we celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi, the institution of the Eucharist. Jesus Christ is truly present in the Hold Eucharist. He is present, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity under each drop of the Precious Blood.
