Christmas Flower Offering

Thank you to everyone who used the Christmas Flower envelope in your December packet. Your gift helped us to purchase the beautiful poinsettias for our altar during the Christmas season. Your deceased loved ones were remembered in our prayers at the celebration of the Mass on Christmas.

Please Note

There will be no communal penance celebration at either St. Joseph or St. Anne because of the Parish Mission. There will be no confessions on New Year’s Eve. Please consult the bulletin and the envelope packet for the schedule of upcoming events.

Thank You

Thanks to all who participated in the Parish Mission at St. Joseph/St. Anne. I appreciate your hospitality. Thanks to those who helped at the liturgies by leading the music, serving, reading, ushering, and ministering Holy Communion. Thanks to all who made donations to support Catholic Home Study Service. I’m grateful to Father John for inviting me, and to all of you. May God bless you. You are in my prayers. Please pray for me. Father Luke (Father Oscar Lukefahr)

Feast of the Holy Family

Let us pray today: Father, help us to live as the Holy Family, united in respect and love.
Bring us to the joy and peace of your
eternal home. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer for the New Year

Dear Lord, at the beginning of this New Year,I remember that you are a God of beginnings and endings. You created the world, with all its eternal patterns.Winter begins in frost, and ends in Spring’s thaw.Spring begins in new, green life, ending in Summer’s heat.Summer begins in sunshine, and ends in Autumn’s breezes.
And Autumn’s color leads to the white of
Winter again. As another year ends and begins in our lives, help us to remember that You have made aworld of cycles. When fortune turns to trials, or hardships turn to joy, Help me to take delight in the life I’ve received from You.

Remind me that I will one day pass from this world and enter a new life like those who’ve gone before me. Amen.

Happy New Year!

Father John and the Staff wish each of you a healthy and prosperous New Year.

Thank You

A special thank you to everyone for the cards, gifts, prayers and good wishes that have been extended to us this holiday season.

We also appreciate everyone who decorated, cleaned, and helped in any way to prepare for this holiest of Christmas seasons. Each of you will be remembered in our daily prayers. May the blessings of this Holy Season be with you always
