Please remember to be generous to Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in this year’s Christmas Collection. As we look to the future, we must all do our part to provide well-formed priests to serve in our parishes in the new millennium. Kenrick-Glennon Seminary has prepared men to serve as priests for more than 100 years. Your support is appreciated as the seminary continues its essential mission of priestly formation.

Recently, the Daughters of Isabella donated some items to our school. We thank them for their generosity.

The Parish office will be closed December 24, 25 and 26. The clerical and janitorial staff of St. Joseph Parish and St. Joseph School wish you and your loved ones a Blessed and Happy Holiday Season.

Dear Parishioner:
After consultation with some of the organizations in the Parishes, and having weighed their advice carefully, I would like to follow up on the pulpit announcement of last week. The Mass schedule will change on Sunday, January 6, 2002. We will keep our winter schedule of having Mass at 4:00p.m on Saturday until the time changes to daylight savings time in the spring. We will then revert back to having Mass at 5:15p.m. on Saturday. The new schedule for Masses on Sunday will remain the same all year long, i.e., 7:00 a.m. and 10:00a.m. at St. Joseph and 8:30 a.m. at St.Anne. The Holy Day Masses will be at 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at St. Joseph and 6:30p.m. at St. Anne on the day of the feast. I hope you will support these changes. Please continue to pray for vocations. The new schedule will make our Masses more in line with the surrounding Parishes.
