Immaculate Conception
On Tuesday, December 8th, we will celebrate the Solemnity of the
Immaculate Conception. The Immaculate Conception refers to the distinct honor given to
Mary by God as being "full of grace". In 1846, the bishops of the Unites States
chose Mary under the title of The Immaculate Conception as the heavenly patron of the
Church in the United States. Tuesday is a holy day of obligation. Masses will be
celebrated at 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at St. Joseph. There will be a Mass at 6:30
p.m. at St. Anne Parish.
Giving Tree Ornaments
Give the gift of Christmas joy and choose an ornament from our
Christmas tree. Your wonderful generosity gives a child in need a special Christmas.
Please remember that these children do not receive a Christmas gift if you choose an
ornament and do not bring back a gift to put under the tree. Bring your wrapped presents
(with the giving tree tag attached) no later than December 18th. Thank you for giving
these children a Merry Christmas.
