FEAST OF THE
IMMACULATE CONCEPTION
Friday, December 8th we celebrate the Feast of
the Immaculate Conception. It is a Holy Day of Obligation for all Catholics. Masses will
be St. Joseph – 8:00a.m. and 5:00p.m. on the day of celebration. Mass at St. Anne
that same evening at 6:30p.m.
OUR LADY SODALITY
The annual CRAFT, COOKIE, CANDY
& BAKE SALE will be on December 2nd from 8:00a.m. til 6:00 p.m. in
the Church Hall. Please stop by. The items this year we are told are outstanding. They are
also offering raffle tickets for a handmade Victorian Doll House. $1.00 each or 6 for
$5.00 What a gift for a lucky daughter or grandchild. However you may want to keep it and
enjoy yourself!! |

St. Joseph Food Pantry has been awarded a grant of
$1,250.00 from the 2006 ANNUAL CATHOLIC APPEAL.
STEWARDSHIP REFLECTIONS
"Beware that your hearts do not become drowsy from
carousing and drunkenness and the anxieties of daily life."
(LUKE 21:34)
The anxieties of daily life can make us all drowsy. We need to
learn to eliminate the craziness of conflicting demands on our time. Instead, we need to
find time to spend with God, especially in this season of waiting, for in Him we will find
our strength.

BELL RINGING
St. Joseph has the privilege of ringing the bell for the
Salvation Army on the weekend of December 16th and 17th. at Country
Mart. Sign up sheets are at the exits this weekend. Please be kind and generous, sign up
and donate your time. Pray for warm weather. Remember the Salvation Army reaches out to
the poor of our area through the St. Vincent de Paul.
