PLEASE WELCOME

At the invitation of the Diocesan Director for the Propagation of the Faith and within the framework of the Mission Cooperative Plan, a representative of the Comboni Missionaries will be here to talk to us at all the masses.

These Missionaries, who number about 4,000 are active in many parts of Africa, Asia and Latin America, witnessing to the concern of Christ for the poor and underprivileged. In the United States, the Comboni Missionaries are present among minority groups.

The visit of the Missionary will help us to appreciate the gift of faith and the many blessings God has given us to enjoy, and to expand our vision of Church.

It is the will of our Bishop that, on this occasion, a special second collection be taken up at all the Masses to aid the Missionary activity of the Church in foreign lands. I urge you to welcome Father Joseph Bragotti, and to make a generous sacrifice for the spread of the Gospel among the poor of the world.
