RETREAT FOR MEN

Join the men of our Parish signing up for the ANNUAL RETREAT at White House Retreat starting Nov. 11th.  Ask any man who has ever made a retreat at White House and he will volunteer that             NEVER HAS HE BEEN MORE AT PEACE WITH HIS SOUL AND HIS GOD.  A retreat once a year is a vital necessity these days.   Call for reservation NOW – Denis Gosling at 358-5621.

St. Joseph School is saving Box Tops for Education and Campbell soup labels.  If you have either you can place them at the back of church.   For a complete list of products for the Box Tops please call Darlene Dilbeck at 330-2248.

The ladies of the Thursday Morning Prayer Group is having a Christmas Bazaar on December 4th. to help benefit the school.

 You are invited to participate.  Purchase a booth space for $20.00 which includes a table and 2 chairs and you will be able to sell your items both old and new, big or small.

 If you wish to donate items to the school booth, please call Gail at 431-4256,or Paula at 358-5323. For their booth these ladies are asking for donations such as baskets, bread mix, cookie mix, Christmas towels, Christmas decorations, homemade jams, jellies, pickles anything that can be purchased to give as gifts or keepsakes.  Please start cleaning out your closets and drop off your items no later than November 13th at the church meeting room.  Your help is greatly appreciated.

Our annual HOG SHOOT will begin at 11:00a.m., October 31, 2004. RAIN OR SHINE!  Ladies please remember to bring a dessert.

The Daughters of Isabella will have their “MERCHANDISE MADDNESS SALE” on Saturday, November 6th. beginning at 6:00 a.m.  Coffee will be free and there will be plenty of homemade goodies for you to purchase.

They are now accepting anything clean and useable.  Please call Janet at 358-0684 or Becky at 358-3141.

The Daughters Corporate Communion was a real success. Several of our members attended Mass and rosary. We all met at the Huddle House for breakfast. The ladies enjoyed this time together.

We hope to see more ladies at our next Corporate Communion on November 15 th. Mark your calendars and join us for Mass, the rosary and breakfast.

Annual Chicken and Dumpling Dinner and Bazaar at Immaculate Conception Church, 1020 W. Main St., Park Hills, Mo. on Sunday, November 7 from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00p.m.  Crafts, quilts and homemade items available at the bazaar.

Please remember to set your clocks back on Saturday, October 31st.  We will begin our winter schedule for evening Mass on Saturday, November 6th.  Confessions will begin at 3:30p.m.The rosary will begin at 3:40p.m.  Mass will begin at 4:00p.m.

WORLD MISSION SUNDAY 

Today is World Mission Sunday. Let us remember in prayer and sacrifice the many needs of our Church’s missionaries serving the poor around the world.  Your generosity today means life and hope for countless millions. 

QUILT SOCIAL 

The ladies of St. Joseph, Zell, Mo. will host an All Quilt Social on Sunday, October 31st. beginning at 1:30p.m.  Lunch will be served.
