St. Vincent De Paul

Congratulations go out to our new President Janet Basse and our Vice President Fran Rapp. Hal Beasley is the retiring President and deserves our heartfelt thanks for his leadership in his time of office. Hal seceded Larry O’Neil, who seceded Ed Reiter. We have had a long line of generous leaders. May God bless these ladies for their service to the parish and the community in the coming years.

The "Public Square" Rosary Crusade

In 1917, Our Lady appeared at Fatima, Portugal, with a message for the world: "Do penance, amend your life, pray the Rosary." Have we heeded the call? That is why/AMERICA NEEDS FATIMA/ is organizing The "Public Square" Rosary Crusade! In public places throughout the country, thousands of Catholics will pray the Rosary at noon on October 13th, 2007, exactly 90 years since the miracle of the sun at Fatima, Portugal. We now have 1,000 rallies planned and hope to reach 2, 000 soon! To organize or find the Rosary Rally nearest you, call toll-free 1-866-584-6012.

Stewardship 2007/2008

"The person who is trustworthy in very small matters is also trustworthy in great ones;… If you are not trustworthy with what belongs to another, who will give you what is yours?`

Luke 16:10,12

Everything we have belongs to God. God entrusted each of us with unique gifts and talents, so that we would use then to do God’s work here on earth. If we do not use our gifts and talents, so that God intended then we betray the trust God placed in us. When we do share our gifts aw God intended, we experience the wonderful joy that comes when we know we have done what is right and pleasing to Our Heavenly Father. Giving doesn’t hurt. It feels great!--
