Funeral Luncheons

Funeral Luncheons will begin again in the very near future. We are asking for volunteers to work the luncheon and/or donations of food. Hopefully, enough parishioners will donate food when called so you will only need to donate every few funerals. If you would like to participate in this worthy cause, please contact Carol Inman at 358-5105.

**Festival Attractions**

Our Festival is going to be the most exciting, most spectacular picnic ever. It is going to be really huge this year. Our new rides include a 35x15 slide, a 15x15 Moon Bounce, a 15x15 Ball Pit, and a 40x17 Obstacle Course. Spread the word that we will also have the HOTTEST Mechanical Bull Ride on earth. Our specialty food chefs are preparing deep fried oreos and deep fried twinkies for your enjoyment. Our Old Fashioned Country Dinner will again feature Fried Chicken, Kettle Beef and Liver Dumplings. You won’t want to miss these treats!

Children’s Games

Our Children’s Games Booth will feature Hillbilly Basketball, Dinosaur Dig, Toss for a Goldfish Prize (goldfish donated by Critter Corner), Balloon Animals, Bing Bag Toss, Dart Games, and much, much more. This year we will offer Nickelodeon cartoon spray on tattoos. Please lend a helping hand to the Pace Family and have lots of fun and cotton candy with the children as well.

Treasure Basket Booth

Come and try your luck at the Treasure Basket Booth at our Festival. Put your fifty cents on the wheel and spin to choose your basket. Paula Pace has loaded these baskets with treasures from our local merchants. You could win a free coffee, fountain drink, or even a free dinner. Paula invites you to join her if you can lend a hand, and share in all the fun and free smiles.

Mark Byington has given an awesome radio promo highlighting all of the Festival 2009 attractions. Billboards have been put up and flyers posted. The grills have been assembled and the charcoal purchased. Charles has been the point man who has organized all the last minute details and plans. The raffle tickets have been sold. "The Bull" is in his corral. Our mechanical bull ride promises to be a real crowd pleaser. If you think you can ride, bring your cowboy hat and come early. The children’s rides are assembled. The poker and beer booths have been set up. The Country Store is open and hamburgers are sizzling on the grill. Bingo and pull tabs have been set up in the Pavilion.
