**Festival Attractions**

Our Festival is going to be the most exciting, most spectacular picnic ever. It is going to be really huge this year. Our new rides include a 35x15 slide, a 15x15 Moon Bounce, a 15x15 Ball Pit, and a 40x17 Obstacle Course. Spread the word that we will also have the HOTTEST Mechanical Bull Ride on earth. Our specialty food chefs are preparing deep fried oreos and twinkies for your enjoyment. Our Old Fashioned Country Dinner will again feature Fried Chicken, Kettle Beef and Liver Dumplings. You won’t want to miss these treats!

Children’s Games

Our Children’s Games Booth will feature Hillbilly Basketball, Dinosaur Dig, Toss for a Goldfish Prize (goldfish donated by Critter Corner), Balloon Animals, Bing Bag Toss, Dart Games, and much, much more. This year we will offer Nickelodeon cartoon spray on tattoos. Please lend a helping hand to the Pace Family and have lots of fun and cotton candy with the children as well.

Treasure Basket Booth

Come and try your luck at the Treasure Basket Booth at our Festival. Put your fifty cents on the wheel and spin to choose your basket. Paula Pace has loaded these baskets with treasures from our local merchants. You could win a free coffee, fountain drink, or even a free dinner. Paula invites you to join her if you can lend a hand, and share in all the fun and free smiles.

Festival 2009
September 20, 2009

Help needed! We will need two desserts from each parish family for the Festival - pies, cakes, cookies, cupcakes, brownies, etc. Sugar free desserts should be marked. Desserts can be brought in Saturday evening or Sunday morning and taken to the Church Hall downstairs. The sharing of your favorite desserts will be appreciated by our dinner guests.

Count Down!

We have only one week left to prepare for our Festival! We urgently need your help and appreciate everyone who has signed up to volunteer.

We Need You!

Saturday, September 19, 2009
Sunday, September 20, 2009
Monday, September 21, 2009

Please call the Parish Office at 573-358-2112 if you can volunteer to help with our booths and activities at the Festival. There are still some sign up sheets in the back of Church.

Saturday volunteers are very important for setting up and kitchen help to peel potatoes, prepare cole slaw and other dinner food preparation. Every booth and dinner helper is important and greatly appreciated.

Monday volunteers are needed to dismantle booths, tents and clean up. Please complete the form if you can help. Free lunch is provided on both Saturday and Monday for all volunteer workers.

Again, please fill in your name and phone number where we can reach you, along with the job number you would like to work. Volunteers are asked to work 2-hour shifts - write in the hours you are available. The Committee Chairperson will call you to confirm your shift time.

Please remember to tell you family and friends to spread the word about our festival. We guarantee you will have a fun time while supporting our parish and Christian community on September 20, 2009.
