Annual Benefit Golf Tournament

us at the lovely Terre Du Lac Golf Course for our FIFTEENTH ANNUAL
BENEFIT
GOLF TOURNAMENT. It will be a Four Person
Scramble – Flighted. Tee time is 1:00PM. The price remains the same. Price includes
Cart, Green Fees, Refreshment and Dinner at the Terre Du Lac Pavilion. The (Turn) will
open for lunch at 11:00AM. If you wish to contribute by sponsoring a Hole, the donation is
$50.00. If you would like to join us for the Dinner/Auction, the donation is $15.00. We
have 25 teams signed up. There is space available for 6 more teams. Registration forms are
in the back of church or at the Parish Office. If you have any questions please call Dude Pratte at 573-358-2555 or Butch Miles at 573-562-7430.
This year we are asking for your help! Donations for the Auction are
needed. We appreciate any and all items that are clean and preferably new. Please bring
them by the Parish Office. Please no clothing.

News from God’s
Lifesavers
The Diaper Drive was very successful this year with collection of
5,007 diapers. They were given to various agencies in our area for distribution to those
in need. A special thanks is given to Karen Snead for contacting numerous businesses for
donations of diapers.
We plan to have the cross displays up again after grass cutting is
done or at least by January. If you want to help with his project, contact Elsie Surina.
Our next regular meeting will be at the Trinity Lutheran Church,
Park Hills on August 12, 2007 at 2:00pm. New members are ALWAYS welcome!
"Protecting God’s
Children"
On August 26, 2007, at 11:30am Immaculate Conception Church, Park
Hills, will host a "Protecting God’s Children" class. This class is for any
new school teachers, P.S. R. teachers and other interested adults. Please do not bring
children to the class. To register, please call 573-431-2427.
Thank You!!
Once again, our Quilting Ladies have given of their time, talent
and treasure. The ladies provided the funds to take our youth servers to a Pizza Party.
They also provided the parish with a new ARCHDIOCESAN FLAG. The flag has arrived and will
be in place soon.
Our Lady Sodality
We will have a "Bake Sale " on August 4th and 5th. Come
downstairs after all Masses and pick up some homemade goodies. We will start selling at
3:00pm.The monies will be used to replace a statue of the Blessed Mother that was broken.
"CHRISTMAS in OCTOBER". Get into the
‘spirit’ of Christmas early. Come to the Church Hall on Saturday, October 13th.
If you have crafts or special items of any kind to sell you can rent a table for $10.00 to
display your wares. Commercial vendors are welcome. If you are shopping, stop by and get
it done early. Call 573-358-7121 or 573-358-0684 to reserve your table.
St. Joseph School News
St. Joseph School is still enrolling students in grades 3 through
6. The First and Second grades have some space available. Preschool is full. At this time
we have 46 students enrolled with 34 families represented. These figures are subject to
change.
If you or someone you know is interested in their child/children
attending St. Joseph School, please call the St. Joseph School Office at 573- 358-5947 or
the Parish Office at 573-358-2112.
Knights of Columbus
The Knights have had another successful third Friday night of the
month "Fish Fry". Thank you to all who have worked and have given of their time.
A special thanks to all who have supported them. Look for the next one on August 17th.
Latin America Apostolate
Next Sunday, August 5th, a special collection will be taken up for
the Latin America Apostolate of the Archdiocese of St. Louis. This collection is the
source of funding for our seven St. Louis Priest Missionaries in Bolivia and Belize. Our
Missionaries depend on us so that their missionary work may continue. Please support our
own Saint Louis Missionary Priests by making a sacrificial gift in this special
collection.
You Are Invited
The Annual Seminary Picnic, sponsored by St. Vincent de Paul
Parish, Perryville, Mo. will be held Friday through Sunday, August 3, 4 & 5 at the
Seminary Grove, adjoining St. Mary’s Seminary. Friday- 6 to 11pm; Saturday – 1
to 11pm.; Sunday – 11am to 9pm. Chicken and Beef Dinners ($8.00 Adults & $4.00
Children) served BUFFET Style. Handmade Quilt Bingo, Antique Carousel, Rides, Live
Entertainment, plus all Picnic Attractions.
