STEWARDSHIP ALIVE!

“Why spend our money for what is not bread; your wages for what fails to satisfy?”

                                ISAIAH 55:2

Do you waste the financial gifts that God has given you on things that are not necessary or on things that do not give you joy and fulfillment?  This is Isaiah’s challenge to us this week.

On next Sunday, August 7, a second collection will be taken up for the Latin America Apostolate.  Please respond generously to this collection which supports the St. Louis Diocesan Priest Missionaries who are serving the Church in Bolivia and Belize.  The presence of these Priest Missionaries in Latin America depends on our support in this special collection.

We are not some casual or meaningless product of evolution.  Each of us is the result of a thought of God.  Each of us is willed, each of us is loved, each of us is necessary.
